Interview with Rosie Castro

Maria del Roasrio Castro, or "Rosie" Castro, is a prominent civil rights and political activist from San Antonio, Texas. Born in 1947, Castro grew up during the height of the Chicano Movement in the 1960s and 1970s, and helped with such events as the LULAC case and diversifying the San Antonio city council through the establishment of single member districts. Castro’s twin sons are now both involved in politics at both the national and local level.
