Interview with Roger Cisneros

Video 1 of 1

Roger Cisneros, a farm boy from New Mexico, serves his country in WWII as a cryptographer, receiving and decoding messages in Okinawa. From a young age he displayed a voracious need for knowledge, and put that appetite to use by opening a law office in Denver, Colorado after returning from his service. Inspired by his uncle's interest in politics and his wife's encouragement, he enters the political scene and becomes a state senator and civil rights fixture in Denver for many decades, with an emphasis on Latino issues.
