Footage date-stamped 17 September 1997 shows a farm called "Las Flores." Various shots of green vegetables cultivated on the land. Blurry shot of
farmers hoeing fields. Farmers standing next to stream that could be used for irrigation. Various shots of landscape and greenery, soil.
Footage date-stamped 23 September 1997 shows a meeting between an anthropologist working in Rabinal, some of the relatives of the victims, representatives of
other organizations, and community leaders. The purpose of the meeting was to offer the Municipality enough evidence about the killings perpetrated on the area in which a recreational park was
planned to be built, and to ask for the creation of a museum instead. The museum would honor the memory of those who died victims of the times of the political repression. The anthropologist
suggests that the museum will also describe the history of the town of Rabinal from its creation to the years of terror and repression. The attendees agree on collecting signatures to present
their request to the Municipality.
