The first five minutes is footage of a lunar eclipse.
Footage from the sentencing of former civil patrollers Carlos Chen, Pedro González, and Fermín Lajuj Xitumul for their participation in the Rio Negro
massacres. The judge reads the report of the anthropologist Jose Fernando Moscoso, which concludes that the massacre occurred and identifies some of the remains. He concludes that there is
sufficient physical evidence and eyewitness accounts to determine the culpability of the accused men. The judge finds the men not guilty of theft and illegal possession of arms, but guilty of
the murders of two women, and sentences them to the death penalty.
