Title:[FAWE Girls Athletic Program, Part 1 of 2]
Abstract:Organized by FAWE (Forum for African Women's Education) Athletic program for Girls, this video shows big groups of girls involved in many activities, including relay races as well as musical chairs. The girls get a chance to participate in various games, compete with other girl groups and be given a certificate in the end: a program that is designed to encourage their human spirit, above all. WITNESS partner Binta Mansaray is present to help promote these activities. Binta in time also gives a brief speech about the celebration of the human spirit and her pride to be there, amongst the audience and the FAWE program participants.
